Total Saints Podcast is 100% dedicated to Southampton Football Club - the greatest team in the world. By far (Editors note: in our completely bias opinion anyway!) Martin Starke is joined by regular panellists Steve Grant (SaintsWeb), Glen de la Cour (League 1 Minus 10) and Alfie House (Daily Echo) diving into the heart of all things Saints FC with a good mix of opinion, entertainment and humour. "Keep Marching In!"This Podcast has been created and uploaded by Total Saints Podcast. The views in this Podcast are not necessarily the views of talkSPORT. Hosted on Acast. Folge vom 20.05.2018Episode 38 - Total Saints Podcast"They think its all over.......it is now!"Yes, it's been a long season for Saints fans (and related Podcasters!) but its now done and dusted and the final Total Saints Podcast - Episode 38 - sees the team sign off for the summer.Ben Stanfield (Host) is joined by Adam Leitch (Chief Sport Writer, Daily Echo), Steve Grant (Owner of SaintsWeb) and Simon Peach (Press Association and Saints fan) to try and bring an element of conclusion to it all.The Podcast discussion reflects on the season, what needs to happen next at Saints, 2018/19 season ticket prices, Ralph Krueger's second 'Big Interview' of 2018 and even a quick England World Cup prediction from Steve and Simon - both of whom are heading to Russia. For now though the Podcast is looking forward to a summer hibernation, before returning ahead of the new Premier League season in August - which will (thankfully) still feature Saints! Thanks to everyone who has listened to us this season, enjoy your summer and KEEP MARCHING IN!Twitter: @totalsaintspodFacebook: www.facebook.com/totalsaintspodE-Mail: totalsaintspodcast@yahoo.com Hosted on Acast. Folge vom 09.05.2018Episode 36 - Total Saints PodcastWell, its taken 37 games but finally Saints have just about saved their Premier League status. Only a bizarre set of results, and a gigantic goal-swing, in the final round of fixtures will now see them relegated. But the drama on the pitch at the Liberty Stadium vs Swansea, where Manolo Gabbiadini scored to give Saints a precious 1-0 win, almost paled into insignificance compared to events off of it.Ben Stanfield (Host of TSP) and Adam Leitch (Chief Sports Writer, Daily Echo) look back on quite an incredible 24 hours around the game - with Saints having to change hotel at really short notice, believed to be due to 'dirty tactics' by an overzealous Swansea fan(s).Once that had unfolded they were then advised their pre-arranged police escort from the new hotel had been cancelled. More 'dirty tactics'!?If that wasn't enough the Saints team then had to park their coach and walk to the stadium, as they hadn't been allowed to unload by Swansea staff, due to the home team doing so at the same moment. More 'dirty tactics'!?!?!Hard to think all the above could happen in the modern age of the Premier League. But it did - and Ben and Adam humorously chat their way through it all!The main thing is that Saints will be playing Premier League football in 2018-19. And its been some journey getting to the stage of confirming that!Total Saints Podcast is dedicated weekly Podcast that goes to the heart of all things Saints.Twitter: @totalsaintspodFacebook: www.facebook.com/totalsaintspodE-Mail: totalsaintspodcast@yahoo.com Hosted on Acast. Folge vom 06.05.2018Episode 35 - Total Saints PodcastFootball can be a cruel game sometimes!Saints fans found that out this past weekend, as Everton - assisted by some rather poor refereeing - scored an undeserved 96th minute equaliser, which cost Southampton 2 massive points in their quest for Premier League survival.Ben Stanfield (Host of TSP) and regular guest Adam Leitch (Chief Sports Writer, Daily Echo), pick the bones out of another tough day at the office for Saints, before previewing the away trip to Swansea in just 48 hours time. A game that, certainly for now, looks to be a 'win and you stay up, lose and you go down' encounter.Sandwiched in the middle of that, Ben lets Adam know just how far he has travelled to watch Saints home and away this season (as if Adam wasn't depressed enough from the trauma of Goodison Park!!), and they also cover the traditional (and original) Player of the Season award - which the Daily Echo opened this week for voting, despite a testing season on the pitch (and in the stands).Total Saints Podcast is dedicated weekly Podcast that goes to the heart of all things Saints.Twitter: @totalsaintspodFacebook: www.facebook.com/totalsaintspodE-Mail: totalsaintspodcast@yahoo.com Hosted on Acast.
