Emergency Management Minister Murray Watt says the flood crisis gripping Greater Sydney will likely get worse throughout the day, especially around the Nepean and Hawkesbury Rivers.
With 6000 homes under evacuation orders, the Minister has announced a further 100 defence personnel will be deployed to help with sandbagging and water rescues.
